November 13 When we were young by Ramy & Britt
It was some time in 1974... we came back from Vancouver Canada... and we styed about two weeks there in Bay View State Park...living in a tent...
September 17 Fishermans hideaway by David H. from Centralia
We recently tent camped (Sept 9-13) I have to say it was the nicest time we ever had in the park. Not because we limited everyday on Pink salmon, but do to the fact that the state employee (named Laurie) treated us like family! She was very informative, eager to be part of our lives and share hers. She even went out of her way to bring us some homemade banana bread, on her own time. The camp ground was quite and clean! We will be back for sure! Keep up the good work and I pray you see the value in Laurie as we do. Keep her there whatever it takes! Thank you for the wonderful time!
June 28 Definitely coming back! by EllieC23
This past weekend was my first time going and it was great! The kids loved it and had a great time exploring around the campsite and going down to the beach playing in the sand. Our site was nice and secluded and the bathroom facilities were well kept with warm water! Definitely coming back!
September 14 Relaxing Get-A-Way by Mechelle
We went here on 9/11/09 and stayed in campsite 47. We took our Motorhome (22 ft) and this site was perfect. The privacy was great! Friday night we went down to the beach, layed on one of the picnic tables and stared at the stars. I had never seen any part of the Milky Way before. I must say this was the best one night get-a-way I have ever had!! Oh and the park and restrooms are clean!!! :-)
August 20 Diva Camping by Mujaahidah
The cabins are nice and are great for families. The picnic table and grill as well as a fire pit right in front of the cabin was a great plus.(no messy grill to take home) Roasting marshmellows in the fire pit was fun and the beach is just a short walk away from the Cabin the children didnt want to leave.
June 8 Cabins good, Oil Refineries Bad
The park is nice and the Cabins are great. Clean, semi-private and a nice way to camp with kids. The bay + beach look out on to 2 oil refineries pumping white smoke into the air. Not so good. Deception Pass is a shrot drive away - recommend spending the day there.
