Located on the western shore of 70,000-acre Clarks Hill Lake, this park is named for a frontiersman and Georgia war hero who led pioneers during the Revolutionary War. A renovated and furnished log cabin museum displays furniture, utensils and tools circa 1780 and is open for weekend tours April through November. Visitors can also view the graves of Clark and his wife, Hannah. Anglers and boaters will especially enjoy the park?s location on the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi River. Cottages are located on the lake?s edge, and the spacious campground is nestled into the forest.

August 19 Best Campground Ever! by Will
park review stars; one to five I am 46 years old and have been coming to Elijah Clark my entire life. I now have older teenagers that my wife and I bring at least twice a year. It is a very special place for me and my family. We used to stay in the cabins a lot because they are amazing but we now stay in our pop-up. You cannot beat the campsites as far as size and cleanliness..and views of the lake. The Park Ranger and staff are extremely helpful and nice. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
February 12 Camping Fun!!
park review stars; one to five We really enjoyed camping at Elijah Clark!! Alot of room and everything was clean. I just wish you could reserve a camping spot ahead way ahead of time like many others. Oh well. Highly Recommended!!
July 27 One of our favorite places to camp by Linda Williams
park review stars; one to five We have camped at Elijah Clark Park several times, and find it to be a great place for the kids to fish and swim. The campsites are very clean and accessible to our 35ft motorhome. We plan to camp there many more times. Looking forward to camping there this fall.
