L PRESLEY AND VERA C GILL STATE NATURAL SITE
The L Presley and Vera C Gill State Natural Site is a beautiful, serene natural area located. This 183-acre site was donated to the state by Mr. and Mrs. Gill with an aim of preserving its unique ecological value for future generations to enjoy as well as providing opportunities for environmental education programs. The park features diverse habitats including wetlands, forests, meadows along with various species of wildlife such as deer, birds among others making it perfect spot for nature lovers or those seeking tranquility away from city life.

History of the Area
Located in Oregon, this natural site is named after L Presley and Vera C Gill. The history of the area dates back to 1986 when it was officially designated as a state natural site by the State Parks Department.

L Presley and Vera C Gill were philanthropists who had an immense love for nature conservation. They donated their land with hopes that future generations would appreciate its beauty just like they did during their lifetime. This generous donation led to the establishment of one among many protected areas within Oregon's vast network of parks.

Directions
1. Start by heading west on Highway 26 from Portland.
2. Continue driving for approximately 60 miles until you reach the town of Seaside.
3. In Seaside, take a right onto Avenue U and continue straight for about half a mile.
4. At the intersection with South Roosevelt Drive, turn left and drive southward for around 5 miles.
5. Look out for signs indicating the entrance to Ecola State Park on your right:hand side; this will be your destination.
