November 9 Quiet Communion by Rita Schwartz
I have been camping at Pickett for over 30 years, once upon a time with my family, then alone. As a single woman, I need a quiet place where I can feel safe and commune with nature. I find that at Picket, where a few times I was one of only two or three campers.
April 5 4-wheeling by Kevin Furnas
We went there over easter weekend 2010 and had a blast, except for the lack of info re: which trails to take. Were unable to find any good maps of the trails and ended up coming out on a road on the wrong side of the mtn in the dark. Managed to flag down a guy to drive a couple of us around to the parking area to get the trucks. MAPS ARE NEEDED ! and a GPS for when you come out.
