I find this park a relaxing place to just spend time with nature! You can hike trails, roadways or just wander around, you never know what might cross your path and just get a chance to see nature at its best. This spring alone for me lots of birds, mink, fawn, deer, beaver, squirrels, rabbits, frogs, hawks....just take time and enjoy them! The staff is very friendly and will to help andnaswer questions and can always run into nice folks to chat with....its close by and with gas so highreally makes the best place to just take a break for a hike, walk, biking, a picnic and camping....

I love this place! I used to come out here as a kid, now I bring my kids and students here! I miss the pool though :-(. Great park, lots of trails. The sledding hill is awesome!
