We found the hiking to be great with wonderful views, but the main part of the park was closed because it was full.

For 1 1/2 hour drive from New York City, you can expect nature at its fullest. It has winding and spectacular road that leads to the park and you can enjoy picnic by the lake while your kids spend time playing at the playground! I saw some people celebrating weddings, baptism, birthdays by the lake. I hope these are permitted.

December 15 A great park

The park has Lots of trails that vary in difficulty to casual stroll to very challenging. You can drive your car to the top for a wonderful view all the way to Manhattan. The park also has frequent activities. Oktoberfest was quite awesome! The park also has a zoo. A must see for anyone living in lower New York

May 30 Cops are a joke by White

You cant park on the side of the road so if you want to fish at a specifc lake you have to walk miles because you cant park. They do this so they can make more money in tickets. What a joke we pay for the park and the cops who work it but yet they try to find any reason to fine you. good ole america
