1. Wentworth State Park offers a designated swimming area on the shores of Lake Wentworth.
2. Lifeguards are not always present, so swim at your own risk.
3. The park's sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing and building sandcastles between swims.
4. Swimming outside the marked areas can be dangerous due to boat traffic and hidden underwater hazards.
5. Canoeing, kayaking, or paddleboarding also allow visitors to enjoy water activities in addition to swimming.
6. The lake's clear waters make it an ideal spot for snorkeling as well.
Enjoy fishing in a serene lake setting, home to species like largemouth bass and pickerel. Trout is also stocked seasonally. Ice-fishing opportunities are available during winter months for an adventurous experience. Boat rentals can enhance your angling adventure on the water.
Wentworth State Park offers picnic tables and grills by the lake. No pavilions or shelters are available for picnicking.
