CASCADE RIVER STATE PARK RECREATION SITE
Anglers can enjoy fishing in the Cascade River, known for its population of brook trout and rainbow trout. Other species found here include coho salmon and steelhead. Fishing is permitted year-round with a valid Minnesota fishing license. Ice-fishing enthusiasts will find opportunities during winter months as well.

Cascade River State Park offers picnic areas with tables and grills, surrounded by beautiful views of waterfalls and forested trails.
Cascade River offers birding opportunities with over 140 species recorded. It's home to warblers, thrushes and raptors among others. Birders can explore trails or the shoreline for sightings. The park is also part of Minnesota's North Shore Birding Trail.
