Visitor Comments, Memories and Reviews
April 15 Great walking trails
park review stars; one to five Best time to visit the part is prior to it officially opening on Memorial Day. Love the fitness trails and the snowmobile trails to walk on. Gorgeous and quiet. After Memorial Day, the West Beach is a zoo.
July 14 swimming by Norman
park review stars; one to five We are local residents and like to go to lake taghkanic to cool off and swim laps. It has been very difficult to swim as the swim area is so shallow children can stand at the deepest point where they play and splash as children do. We think if is fine for them and would like to see a swim lane marked out with ropes so we and others could swim. Also it is a shame when some children stand in front of the lifeguard stand and throw stones. This happens regularly without the lifeguard saying anything.
June 20 A great day at the lake except..... by Laroccia
park review stars; one to five We had a great Father's Day at the lake, only one problem, there were a group of people using drugs at the next picnic table. We called the park ranger and they said they were going to take care of it.
