MOUNT RIGA STATE PARK
Mount Riga State Park is a serene, 276-acre park known for its hiking trails and picturesque views. It features the highest point in CT, Mount Frissell's south slope at 2,380 feet. The area boasts lush greenery during summer months while winter offers snow-covered landscapes ideal for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Visitors can also enjoy fishing on nearby lakes and streams.
Connecticut has made state parks, forests, trails, historic sites and beaches more accessible to our residents so they can enjoy the many attractions and beauty they offer.
