N R GOODALE STATE PARK
This 763-acre day-use park is a popular get-away for area residents. The park lake, formally a mill pond that dates back to the Civil War days, features cypress trees, numerous species of birds and a variety of wildlife and plant life.
This regional state park offers seasonal boating, fishing, picnicking and a meeting building.

The rental meeting building is ideal for meetings and special occasions for up to 60 people.
The facility which is handicap accessible rents for $160-200/day (includes daily admission fee) and boasts a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace, full kitchen and screened porch with a view of the lake.
