Species like American White Pelican, Double-crested Cormorant, Great Blue Heron are often seen near the lake area.

In woodland areas you may spot Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker and Northern Flicker among others.

During migration season expect to see warblers such as Yellow-rumped Warbler and Pine Warbler along with sparrows.

Winter brings ducks including Gadwall & Mallard while summer attracts Scissor-tailed Flycatcher & Painted Bunting.
