Visitor Comments, Memories and Reviews
February 10 WONDERLAND by claycats4
park review stars; one to five I drove through Federation Forrest in October 2016. It truly was like driving through Wonderland. The fall leaves were dressed in their Sunday clothes and floating in the air, with the afternoon sun shining through the evergreens where it could sneak in. The yellow leaves looked like little embers of fire falling softly to earth. It was heaven. I recommend a trip through Federation Forrest in the fall.
December 8 Gorgeous old growth forest by Ann Ewel
park review stars; one to five This is a fabulous park. I have never seen more than a handful of people here. It is a beautiful old growth forest. There is a short nature walk with beautiful interpretive signs, and then you can explore the trails and walk through beautiful groves of old huge trees. This is where I bring my guests from out of town. The hikes have little to no elevation so it is a very accessible walk.
September 30 The interpretive center is great by Mat
park review stars; one to five Have a sign saying what is open and when there are guides (if any), and when visitor center is staffed.
