Lake Greeson, nestled in the Ouachita Mountains of southwest Arkansas, is a man-made reservoir created by the damming of the Little Missouri River. Spanning approximately 7,000 acres with over 130 miles of wooded shoreline, this picturesque lake offers an idyllic setting for outdoor enthusiasts.

Completed in 1950 and originally named Narrows Dam Reservoir after its associated dam structure (Narrows Dam), it was later renamed to honor Martin White Greeson who advocated for flood control measures that led to its creation. Lake Greeson's clear waters are popular for fishing-boasting abundant species such as bass and crappie-and various recreational activities including boating, swimming, hiking trails around Daisy State Park which borders part of the lake.
