WESTPORT LIGHT STATE PARK
Westport Light State Park is a 212-acre day-use park on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. The park offers a panoramic view of the sea. The historic Westport Lighthouse is adjacent to the park. A concrete boardwalk traverses the primary dune, connecting this park with Westhaven State Park, 1.3 miles away.
The park is named for the historic Westport Lighthouse (also called Grays Harbor Lighthouse) built in 1898 and adjacent to the park on Coast Guard property. The lighthouse was built as a navigational aide for Point Chehalis at the south entrance to Grays harbor.

The park has no camping.
The beach is suitable for many improvised games. An ADA hiking trail, which is actually a concrete boardwalk along the beach, connects this park with Westhaven State Park 1.3 miles away. All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are illegal on the beach and dunes. Swimming in the ocean is not advised due to variable currents or rip tides.

The park provides 8 unsheltered picnic tables, and one restroom for day-use visitors. Flip-top braziers are located at picnic sites, which are all first come, first served.
1. Dune Forest Loop Trail: This 0.9-mile loop trail is perfect for beginners and families with children, offering a gentle walk through the park's dunes and forest.
2. Westport Light House Trail: A flat, paved path that stretches about 1 mile from the parking lot to Grays Harbor Lighthouse - Washington's tallest lighthouse.
3. Beach Access Trails: Several short trails leading directly onto the beach where visitors can enjoy bird watching or simply relax by the ocean waves.
4. North Jetty Coastal Walkway: An approximately two miles long scenic route along Half Moon Bay providing stunning views of Pacific Ocean surf crashing against rocks on one side and tranquil harbor waters on another side.
5. Twin Harbors State Park Connector Trail: It connects Westport Light State Park to Twin Harbors State Park via an easy-to-walk bike/pedestrian pathway which runs parallel to Highway 105 for around three miles.
6. Willapa Hills Rail-Trail Connection Path: For those seeking longer hikes this connection leads towards Willapa Hills rail-trail stretching over fifty-five miles across Southwest Washington countryside all way up till Chehalis River Valley in Lewis County.
7. Southwest Coast Wildlife Viewing Route: Though not strictly a hiking trail it offers opportunities for walking while observing local wildlife like seals, sea lions & various migratory birds during different seasons.
