RAY ROBERTS LAKE STATE PARK - JOHNSON BRANCH UNIT
1,514 acres is on the north side of the lake and opened in 1996.
The park offers fishing from the shore or a boat. Anglers can catch largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie here. There's also an accessible fishing pier for convenience. A fish cleaning station is available too.
Ray Roberts Lake State Park - Johnson Branch Unit is located near Aubrey, Denton and Prosper

Birding trails are available for exploration with a chance to see waterfowl during winter months on the lake itself. A bird blind is provided for better viewing opportunities of these feathered creatures in their natural habitat.
