review rating - 1 to 5 stars Rate increases - The proposed rate increase for Owl Creek Horse Camp is too high. To go from $5 per vehicle to $10 per rider is to high. Families use horses as an activity for their children an activity that teaches them respect while keeping them busy without electronics. An increase per vehicle would be more acceptable $5 per vehicle to $10 per vehicle is more acceptable.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Beautiful Park - Enjoyed biking around the park during my stay in the area. Good park to do around 20 miles if you want and enjoy time away from traffic and congestion. Was able to spot an alligator and other wildlife in the morning. Free bikes rentals are a nice option for familes. I primarily used my own bike but did use a park bike when the dog got too hot on a hike.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Beautiful place - Absolutely beautiful place We rented a lakeside cabin.I would give this place a 10 for the beauty inside the cabin and out as well as the staff. All a 10 except the floors and rugs in the cabin. I know they were mopped before arrival because they were sticky. But NOT clean. Our feet were black if we went barefoot or with socks ..Such a beautiful place should not have this issue

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Caney Fork Falls - Poor job of promoting this beautiful falls. No signs for direction and no parking at the gate. I live 15 miles away and did not know about this place until my Direct TV started showing a picture when paused.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars A pleasure to be HERE! - We have travelled in our RV for five years, and this was the very first night of our first year - May, 2010. Though this was several years ago, most State Parks do not loose their beauty, history, aura, and popularity! Definitely a family direction.

5/2/2018 12:31:37 PM Monte Sano State Park by A tent camper
review rating - 1 to 5 stars Liked the walking trails but.. - We were shocked to see an area being overtaken by bamboo which is not indigenous to the area. There were also daffodils which would have been imported , too. It did not make sense, especially when we later saw a poster talking about other invasive species introduced in the park.
